Apple Tree Cottage and Woodhouse Farm Bed and Breakfast Body Text: Come and stay on our family run working farm and experience a great Yorkshire bed and breakfast or self catering holiday. Situated between the Yorkshire Wolds, the Vale of York and the Howardian Hills, Woodhouse Farm has a beautiful, peaceful countryside location with stunning views of the surrounding area, making it the ideal holiday location. Bed and breakfast accommodation in our 18th Century listed farmhouse consists of king sized en-suite and family rooms, all furnished and equipped to a very high standard. With a guests lounge and separate dining room, you can be sure of a homely atmosphere and comfortable stay. Apple Tree Cottage is also a listed building, and has been sympathetically restored to make the most of its original features. Refurbished to the highest standard, it offers a warm welcome to all. Our central location means we are an ideal base for exploring North Yorkshire, close to York (only 20 minutes drive away), and many other attractions including Castle Howard, Flamingoland, and the North Yorkshire Moors. We are easily accessed by road, just a stones throw from the A64, and less than an hour from the M1, M62, M18 and A1, with London less than 3 hours away by train with a direct link from Manchester Airport.

Take A64 (Leeds/Malton/Scarborough road) heading from YORK towards MALTON and Scarborough. At the top of the big hill (WHITWELL ON THE HILL) take right turn to KIRKHAM PRIORY. Follow road to KIRKHAM, over railway and river. Past STONETROUGH INN on Left. Follow road to T Junction in WESTOW. Turn right, past BLACKSMITHS INN on left. Follow road out of village, approx 1 mile out, WOODHOUSE FARM drive on right, 3 fields inland next to large wood.
