Named after an old ship of the Line, Fortitude Cottage overlooks the quayside at the heart of Old Portsmouth. Situated a few yards from the ancient fortifications which give unrivalled views of the ships as they pass through the Harbour Entrance.
Established over 30 years ago, Fortitude Cottage enjoys a good reputation for providing welcoming and comfortable accommodation combined with quality. There are three prettily furnished bedrooms, all en-suite and immaculately maintained, each with TV and tea/coffee facilities.
Breakfasts are served in a bow-windowed dining room with a view of the fishing boats and ferries. For lunches and evening meals there's an excellent selection of restaurants and pubs all within a few minutes walk.
The Waterbus docks at the Quay opposite, a 5 minute boat ride to HMS Victory and all other Naval Heritage attractions.The Harbour train, bus and coach stations and Continental Ferry port are just a few minutes away.

By Car:
From the M27 exit junction 12 "Portsmouth & Ferries" to the M275. Pick up signs for "Old Portsmouth, IOW Ferries" and follow. Then follow signs for "Old Portsmouth, Cathedral". Go past the Cathedral, you will be in the High Street which if followed to end takes you straight into Broad street and we are at the end number 51.
By Train or Coach:
Disembark your vehicle and take a three minute taxi ride to Fortitude Cottage.
