The bedrooms have been individually designed and feature en-suite bathrooms, Egyptian cotton sheets, telephone, television, hairdryer, magazines and tea/coffee making facilities. Our traditional oak Four-poster bedrooms are ideal for a celebration visit to Bath, with either a view over the Royal Crescent or our beautiful garden. Owned by Kathryn and Tim Hugh, Dorian House is a perfect base for exploring the historic spa town of Bath. It is a ten-minute walk to the centre and off street parking is available. The breakfast buffet includes fresh fruit, cereals, cheeses and juices, while a full English breakfast is selected from a menu, including Vegetarian options or scrambled egg with smoked salmon on a lightly toasted English muffin. There is a small bar and cosy lounge furnished with antiques, where you may read a newspaper or plan an evening meal using our book of menus selected from the excellent restaurants in town. Wine and Champagne is available, also in half bottles.                 Directions : From the M4 Motorway Exit at junction 18 and take the A46 towards Bath. Shortly after it turns into a dual carriageway, exit onto a large roundabout, follow signs for Bath town centre along the A4. Continue along the A4 for about one mile then follow signs for through traffic, turning leftat aet of traffic lights into Bathwick Street. Pass over the river and the fire station on your left. Drive straight on until you meet a roundabout. Turn right. At the next roundabout drive straight on. At the traffic lights, carry straight on and pass under the railway bridge. Follow this road (A36 Pulteney Road) around the edge of Bath, until you meet an elongated roundabout where the train line runs across to your right. Turn left up the hill signposted towards Shepton Mallet on the A367. Drive for one minute up the hill. Upper Oldfield Park is the first on the right (oldfield Road means you have gone one road too far!) Dorian House is the third building on the left. Directions from Bristol Take the right hand fork of the A4 where it splits outside Bath (The Lower Bristol Road). You will meet an elongated roundabout where the train line crosses above to your right. Take the third exit, signposted towarfds Shepton Mallet on the A367. Drive for one minute up the hill. Upper Oldfield Park is the first on the right. (Oldfield Road means you have gone one road too far!) Dorian House is the third building on the left. Directions from Stonehenge and the South From Stonehenge take the A36 towards Warminster and Bath. Continue along this road until you turn left along the B3110 towards Norton St Philip you need to continue to the end of this road about 20 minutes drive (pass through Norton St Philip, Hinton Charterhouse and Midford Valley up a steep hill and straight ahead at two mini roundabouts towards Bath) At the end of the road you will meet the A367. Turn right down the hill. The road begins to flatten out and you will see a pub on the left called The Bear. It has a big polar bear over the door. The road turns to the left sharply and we are the second road on the left after this bend. (Upper Oldfield Park). Dorian House is the third building on the left.
