Internationally acclaimed, the Victoria a listed building, built in the reign of William IV, is situated in Laureston Place, which was the original coaching route to London. The house affords beautiful views of Dover and the hills beyond. From the "Crow's Nest" (a charming family room) you are able to watch the cruise liners and ferries entering and leaving the port.
We would like to extend a warm welcome to our family-run guesthouse. We offer a choice of en-suite and non-smoking accommodation, all to be found in comfortable, well-maintained rooms (all with TV and tea/coffee making facilities). Before you set off on your journey, enjoy a full traditional English breakfast, or if you prefer, continental or vegetarian breakfasts are available.
If you wish to spend a few days in Dover, you will find that it is an excellent base. Apart from the many historical attractions to be found in Dover, there is a good selection of shops including De Bradelei Wharf (the new factory outlet). Of course, the day-trip to France or Belgium is a very popular choice for visitors to the town. If you wish to visit the surrounding area, the Cathedral City of Canterbury, Folkestone, Deal, and Sandwich are all within easy driving distance, not to mention the beautiful countryside of the Garden of Kent with it's oast houses and coastal walks. If you are looking for somewhere to unwind, you will find that Dover and its surroundings is just the place for you!
We have garages and off-street parking subject to availability. There is also un-restricted parking along Laureston Place.
